Multiple witness cell phone cameras recorded the moment a suicide blast ripped through a political rally in Pakistan's Bajur district near the Afghan border on July 31, 2023. Various reports suggest approximately 50 people were killed and another 200 were injured in the blast and resulting stampede of panicked attendees.

The rally was being held in an area supportive of the Pakistani Taliban (Tehreek-e-Taliban-e-Pakistan TTP), and it is being thought that members of the Islamic State in the Khoresan Province (ISKP) may be behind the attack. The blast is said to be the deadliest suicide attack in Pakistan in several years.
