The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) released footage that supposedly backs their claim that they thwarted the seizure of an oil tanker ship by US Naval forces in the Sea of Oman late last month.

The Iranians claim the US planned to board and seize the Iranian oil aboard the ship. However, the Pentagon dispelled the accusations saying they were totally false and that “the only seizing that was done was by Iran." The US said they were merely observing as the Iranians boarded and seized the Vietnamese flagged tanker.

The footage itself doesn't appear to show anything conclusive; an Iranian ship and a few patrol boats driving alongside the tanker while a US ship trails behind.
