This footage depicts a breakdown of the CAF BR-1, a home-grown clone of the AK platform made by, and for, the People's Defense Forces- the Anti-Junta insurgents of Myanmar. A video showing an example of the PDF's home-grown AR can be found here.

One of my favorite topics of study when it comes to asymmetric and irregular warfare like this is the unique and purpose-built weapons that make it into service, from the sub-machine guns of the French and Polish Resistances, to the slam-bang shotguns used in the Philippines, on up to the zip guns found in Bosnia, and of course, the Khyber Pass clones. I would not be at all surprised if Ian McCollum over at Forgotten Weapons ends up doing a video on PDF rifles one day.
