Footage from a Filipino supply ship shows a devastating water cannon attack against their vessel carried out by the Chinese Coast Guard. The incident reportedly occurred on Mar. 23, 2024, near the Ayungin Shoal in the West Philippine Sea.

China has aggressively laid claim to territorial waters that are also claimed by Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines. The international community has described China's overreaching claims as baseless and dangerous.
