Ukrainian Border Guards Delete Russian Vehicles With 100-Millimeter Cannon

This footage, provided by the Ukrainian military, shows an artillery piece being used by the 15th Mobile Unit, “Stalevyy Kordon” in Kharkiv. With it, the border guards hit what appears to be two different Russian APCs while they are in motion.

This would be fairly impressive if it only happened once, but this footage suggests that the 15th Mobile managed the hit at least twice. In the video, a vehicle is shown in the background moving in the same direction as the first stricken vehicle. When the second vehicle is hit, the vehicle in the background is shown (perhaps wisely) speeding in the opposite direction.

In both instances, an occupant is shown being flung from the vehicle for significant flight time, distance, and altitude.

The MT-12 Rapier is a 100-millimeter smoothbore anti-tank cannon which is used by both sides of the conflict. In addition to HE, Sabot and HEAT rounds, the Rapier is also capable of firing a laser-guided missile- the 9M117 Bastion. This may help explain the apparent ease with which the 15th Mobile is shown tagging vehicles at speed.
