Ukrainian BMPs Working Over Bakhmut

This footage, from the Summer of 2023, shows two Ukrainian BMPs, and more importantly, their autocannons, pummeling an unseen Russian position. The 30-millimeter cannons are shown smoking as the gunners finish hammering whatever target they were assigned.

While there’s little tactical commentary or analysis to be garnered from this footage, sometimes 30-millimeter badassery speaks for itself. It’s an old adage, but it rings true: “Bring a long gun. If you can, bring friends with long guns.” These guys have taken the advice to the extreme, bringing a whole ‘nother BMP and its autocannon into the fray. The Russians probably felt this was unfair, but fair fights are for suckers.
