Hamas released brutal footage showing a deadly close-range ambush against a dismounted IDF patrol in the Gaza Strip. Three Israeli troops are show walking into the kill zone just before they are rapidly cut down by automatic rifle fire. A second, oddly placed camera captures the evacuation attempts to get the dead and wounded off the battlefield.

It's very unlikely that Hamas just happens to have cameras and ambushes lying in wait on every square inch of the Strip. It's more likely that these IDF troops were somehow baited into the area or had become extremely repetitive in their tactics that they became predictable.

It appears that at least three Israeli soldiers were killed in the ambush, but no reports from either side regarding the specifics of the incident could be verified by us.
