World-renowned Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel was stabbed repeatedly in the face and neck, and the attack was recorded during a live-streamed mass. The incident occurred at the Christ The Good Shepherd Church in Sidney, Australia.

The attacker can be seen approaching the altar and suddenly begins a rapid flurry of overhand stabs. The church goers rush the attacker, who was subdued and then arrested by police. His name or motive has yet to be released.

Interestingly, a Sidney shopping mall was the site of a deadly stabbing spree on Saturday, in which a different crazed man reportedly killed six people.
