(NSFW) Armed Israeli Shop Owner Eliminates Hamas Terrorist

This footage, provided by The Times Of Israel, shows an IDF soldier stopping an actively shooting terrorist with his own rifle while home on leave. Viewer discretion is advised.

Aviad Gazbar owns the Hummus Eliyahu restaurant attached to a gas station in Eli, a settlement on the West Bank. He is also a serving soldier in the IDF, and was home on leave in February 2024 from the fighting in Khan Yunis (some of the IDF operations there can be seen here and here) when a Hamas gunman attacked the gas station, killing two: a 57-year-old Rabbi and a 16-year-old-boy. The gunman was later identified as Muhammad Manasra, a policeman with the Palestinian Authority. Gazbar, while in the restaurant, heard the gunfire, picked up his rifle and proceeded to clock in at his other job.

It is not explicitly shown in the footage, but Gazbar fired a shot specifically, per an interview, to alert Manasra to his presence, diverting him from other civilians. I sat here for about five minutes trying to conjure adequate praise for such a gangster move, but it pretty much speaks for itself. At 0:12, return gunfire strikes the entrance to the Hummus Eliyahu, and Gazbar backpedals before pressing to the door, kneeling, and firing. The gunman is hit at 0:21, and tries to turn away, but Gazbar drops him and continues to fire until the Hamas terrorist/shitbag cop (professional peer assessment mine) is fully splayed out and no longer a threat.

Gazbar: “The same terrorists in Gaza are the same ones who are here. In every place, they try to kill us. We have to keep our heads high.”
