A seemingly new and improved rifle grenade launcher has been developed, which allows an AK variant rifle to send standard Soviet RGD-5 hand grenades out to approximately 150 meters.

While Kalishnikovs launching hand grenades has been a thing for decades, this specific muzzle device appears to be a relatively recent development. A "blank" rifle cartridge is used to project the grenade, instead of a live round to avoid serious damage to the rifle, grenade, and the grenadier.
