GoPro footage recorded from the helmet of an IDF Soldier with the 601st Battalion combat team captures face-to-face combat with Hamas fighters located inside of a building in the Gaza Strip. The ensuing firefight resulted in the death of two Israeli Soldiers.

Reservist 22-year-old Sergeant First Class Ben Zussman and 19-year-old Sergeant Binyamin Yehoshua Needham were killed during the engagement. Zussman, who was posthumously promoted to the rank of Colonel, has been misidentified as a retired General by several news agencies.

That said, in a separate engagement on Sunday, 36-year-old Neriya Shaer, a reservist Sergeant Major with 6655th Battalion was killed in action.
