Cell phone video recorded by members of the Ukrainian 3rd Separate Assault Brigade defend their trench line from a Russian assault in what is most likely the Bakhmut Region of Ukraine.

The 3rd Separate Assault Brigade is a relatively new unit in the Ukrainian Military. They were officially granted status as a unit by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a Presentation of Colors ceremony on February 24, 2023. Unofficially, the unit has been operating as a separate branch of the Azov Battalion since November of 2022.
