Sudanese Military Utilizes Drone on RSF Troops

Drone video released by the Sudanese military shows an attack against RSF forces in an undisclosed portion of the country. This is the first time we have seen footage of this type coming out of the region and it marks a slight shift in status of combat there.

When the conflict in Khartoum, Sudan kicked off about a month ago, I though for sure the situation would be over in a matter of days to a week at best. I was wrong on that front, and we saw the combat there raging for quite some time until it eventually started to die down as a cease-fire was signed and it appeared as if it was going to stay in place for a while.

Unfortunately, somewhere in the last 72 hours it appears as if that ceasefire was broken. There isn't much information cycling about the conflict at this time, but we are getting a lot of unconfirmed reports out of Khartoum saying that the fighting in the region is once again intensifying.

We'll do our best to stay on top of that region as it the situation evolves.
