Russian Volunteer Corps Fighters Assault Building and Ambush Spetznaz QRF

This drone footage, provided by the Russian Volunteer Corps, shows their Second Assault Platoon working over a house held by the Russian military using drones and mortar fire. After the assault, they ambush a vehicle reportedly being used by a QRF element of Spetznaz GRU, who were coming to assist the soldiers in the house.


This fight is geolocated to have occured at 50.45932, 35.58452 (Kozinka, Belgorod). The RVC uses drones and mortar fire to attack the house, although one Russian soldier at 0:31 seems largely unbothered before apparently being taken out by a drone some five seconds later. At 01:02, the drone spots a QRF element coming down the road to protect the Russians being shelled in the house.


At 02: 01, the QRF force is shown in the trees near the vehicle, at the bottom center of frame. RVC fighters, using a nearby building as cover, attack and eliminate the QRF. According to the Russian Volunteer Force, the relieving element was a Spetznaz unit.
