Russian Su35 Shot Out of the Sky

Footage of a Russian Su-35 descending in flames after being intercepted over Crimea. This single-seat, twin-engine, air superiority fighter is an upgrade of the older Su-27. Russia began the war with 120 Su-35s (another source claims 118), and at least six have been lost in the conflict with Ukraine, with a per-unit cost of $85 million. Thus far Russia has lost 294 airframes of all types in this war.
