The source reports the sniper was using a UAR-10, also known as a Zbroyar Z-10. It’s a Ukrainian-made cousin of the AR-10, chambered in 7.62 x 51 NATO. It’s hard to get more Ukrainian than sniping Russians with a home-grown rifle, but the source also reports that his callsign is/was “Odesa.”
