Harrowing drone footage shows a Russian shovelman's last stand as he attempts and fails to bring down a Ukrainian drone. First he lifts his shovel at the hovering observation drone with no luck, and then he quickly transitions to throwing it at an explosive-laden FPV drone.

The bomb drone approaches quickly and detonates squarely on the soldier's head, killing him instantly. The psychological impact of drones on frontline fighting troops has to be several times greater than any known sniper threat in the history of war.
