This bodycam footage from the IDF perspective shows a Hamas militant attempting to flank and kill them with a grenade. Despite missing with his throw, the would-be hard-charger finds himself already committed to his leap into their position, and shortly thereafter is predictably killed. Viewer discretion is advised.

Every so often, an event happens that can only best be framed by one of the poetic geniuses of our age. It is with this preface that I ask you: Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunity, to seize everything you ever wanted in one moment- would you capture it, or just let it slip?

The Hamas fighter here recognizes his moment, embraces his chance to be the main character and take out the IDF… and promptly fucks it up, his grenade going to the right of his position and rather harmlessly against the berm on which the IDF are fighting. However, as the IDF turn, we see that the Hamas militant was so sure of his success that he’s already in motion, jumping into the position he was definitely about to knock out. At this point, he only has a knife. His one shot, one opportunity, ends there.
