Civilian cell phone footage recorded from the balcony of an apartment building captures an Israeli Defense Force bulldozer purposely triggering an improvised explosive device with the front-end loader portion of the vehicle. This footage was filmed in Tubas, a Palestinian city in the northeastern West Bank.

The most likely scenario here is that the bulldozer is clearing a route for follow-on forces. This method seems more effective for clearing improvised explosives than driving up and down roads with a mine roller. However, the Israelis have all the time in the world to maneuver these slow-moving, heavily armored vehicles so there's no reason for them to resort to faster paced methods of route clearance.
