If you've never fired a machine gun from the standing position, the time to do it for the first time is not when two of your friends are crouched down in front of you taking cover from enemy fire. Also, you do not look cool attempting to march across the road spraying the MG42 from the shoulder as it nearly knocks you onto your own behind with every burst.
