Thermal footage shows an Israeli airstrike erasing a reported Hezbollah headquarters in southern Lebanon. The Hamas attacks against Israel appear to be coordinated with Lebanon-based terror group Hamas, who is also carrying out attacks against Israel simultaneously.

The IDF strikes against Hezbollah command structure is intended to degrade their ability to further conduct effective attacks against Israeli targets while the IDF prepares their ground forces for operations against Hamas.

The Israeli Defense Forces have also carried out strikes inside Syria in an attempt to thwart Iran's ability to further facilitate Hamas and Hezbollah with weapons and equipment.
