This IDF footage shows a Hamas rocket launching site deliberately placed between a mosque and a school. It is often suggested that IDF bombs and attacks civilian targets indiscriminately, but this video serves as yet more evidence of Hamas using civilian, protected infrastructure as a shield.

In so doing, Hamas gains both the protection of the civilians- effectively hostages- as long as IDF deliberates on destroying the buildings, as well as propaganda value if the IDF does take out the site. Absent the perspective which shows Hamas turning the area into a legitimate target, it’s easy for some people and organizations to lambast Israel for their actions. However, by obtaining and publishing proof before prosecuting the target, Israel provides a rebuttal in the conversation about on whose hands the blood and rubble lay.
