3 MANPADS Launched At Russian Jet Simultaneously

Footage filmed from two angles shows three Ukrainian soldiers launching surface-to-air missiles at a passing Russian fighter jet. At least one of the MANPAD systems appears to be an Igla variant. The use of multiple missiles at once, although expensive, increases the chance of a successful hit significantly as the target aircraft's counter measure systems are easily overwhelmed. However, the effectiveness of this specific anti air operation cannot be determined from the footage alone.
