GoPro footage taken from the helmets of several IDF commandos with the Egoz Unit shows a raid against a compound in western Khan Yunis associated with Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. According to early reports, the unit engaged and eliminated what is currently being called dozens of militants.

In the release, the IDF stated that they had cased the compound with intelligence for several weeks prior to initiating the raid, which sparked the gunfight with local militants. Inside of the compound, the commandos uncovered a large amount of military equipment, including IDF uniforms, vests, weapons, and ammunition.
