A 28-year-old former U.S. Army officer was killed after he was stabbed by a Palestinian man who went on a knifing-terror spree in the Tel Aviv neighborhood of Jaffa, Israel. The veteran’s wife was also seriously wounded in the attack.
Taylor Force was a West Point graduate with tours to Iraq and Afghanistan and was one of 11 people stabbed by the madman on Tuesday. Force was an MBA student at Vanderbilt University who was visiting Israel with classmates to develop his understanding of global entrepreneurship. Rest in peace, brother.
Rather than condemning the attack, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas praised the coward, calling him a hero and a martyr, accurately reflecting the sick culture of cowardice he represents, in which attacking unarmed civilians is held in high esteem. The Israeli people have been living under constant threat of Palestinian attacks against them by means of knives, guns, and automobiles. I’d say Operation Protective Edge II is well over due.
