In Russian history, May 9th is commemorated as Victory Day, after the fall of the Nazi Regime. During World War 2, Russia sustained an estimated 20-million deaths as a result of the global conflict. Moving forward to now, many believe the day will be utilized as an additional motive to push further and faster into Ukraine.
