American troops standing their posts on an FOB somewhere in Iraq find themselves in the middle of a massive gunfight with an SVBIED barreling towards their positions.

Yet again, I have another piece of combat footage that I found buried deep in the confines of the internet that has almost no context attached to it whatsoever. The only legitimate context that we can provide is that this is an FOB somewhere in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom, and it appears to be U.S. Troops that were involved with the firefight itself.

If anyone was present for this specific firefight, we'd love to hear from you down in the comments. What was the location of this gunfight? What weapon system was used to stop the SVBIED? Were there any U.S. or Coalition casualties from the attack? These are the kind of questions we like to answer in our write ups, but in this case we simply don't have any. Regardless, the video is pretty damn good, so we had to get it up on the site to see if anyone in our audience could help fill in the context.
