Members of a heavy weapon's company with a Ukrainian Airborne unit have a close call with death while sprinting through the open. First a sharpshooter takes a potshot at the two lead troops which causes them to pause just before a mortar round detonates in their direct path.

This video is a testament to the randomness and chaos of war. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how well trained you are or how Gucci your kit is. All it takes is one second of bad luck and your life can end in the blink of an eye. These guys just happened to be super fortunate that first, the sharpshooter didn't hit either of them as they ran through the open, and second, that they paused long enough to not sprint any closer to the detonating mortar round directly in front of them.

There is no location for this footage, however it was released by the Ukrainian Soldier wearing the action camera today. From what I can tell, he's a member of a Ukrainian Airborne unit, specifically conducting combat operations with a heavy weapons company.
