Security camera footage from 2018 shows Tina Ring and her daughter Ashley defending themselves from a shotgun wielding would-be robber. It doesn't go well for the robber.

The incident occurred at around 6pm on February 22nd, 2018, when Tina and Ashley were working at Forest Acres Liquor in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The now-convicted robber, Tyrone Lee, entered the store with a sawn-off 12 gauge shotgun with the intent of robbing the store, and was later found to be connected to a string of other armed robberies in the area. In an absolute flex of a decision, Tina and Ashley APPEAR to activate the security locking system on the doors, which theoretically would have trapped Tyrone between the two thresholds while authorities arrive. Tyrone attempts to exit the outer door and can't. That's where things get interesting. They aren't stuck in there with him, he's stuck in there with them.

Tyrone is able to return to the store by catching the interior door prior to it securing itself. What ensues is essentially a fight for life. Tina and Ashley prevail, taking the fight to their attacker with their own sidearms ultimately hitting him four times. Tyrone would survive the four gunshot wounds, one of which in his face, and check himself into a local hospital. He was eventually convicted of multiple counts of robbery with a sentence of 22 years in federal prison. Tina attended every court appearance for Tyrone.
