Two Teenagers Steal Truck And Shoot At Officers

The Atlanta Police Department released body camera footage from an incident that occurred on November 10th, 2021, showing the moments two 16-year-olds stole a truck and began shooting at police.


At approximately 2:00 p.m., the Zone 4 Crime Suppression Unit was dispatched to an AutoZone located at 634 Whitehall St NW in response to a located stolen vehicle. When officers arrived, the truck, at the time occupied by two 16-year-old teenagers, rammed a patrol car in an attempt to flee the area. As the truck passed one of the passengers shot at responding officers with a handgun.


Zone 4 CSU officers caught up to the vehicle after it crashed into a building at 804 Cascade Ave, where the two juveniles were ultimately arrested.


No officers were injured nor was an officer involved shooting reported.
