TOS-1A Suffers Sympathetic Detonation of Munitions

Drone footage released by Ukrainian forces shows the destruction of a Russian TOS-1A by an FPV kamikaze drone. Shortly after the impact of the drone, the rockets stored inside of the system begin to sympathetically detonate, with some of them even being discharged the MLR system itself.

The TOS-1A (also known as TOS-1 Buratino) is a multiple rocket launcher (MRL) system primarily used by Russian forces and designed for heavy fire support operations. It was developed in the 1980s and is based on the chassis of the T-72 main battle tank.
