On Tuesday April 20, 2021 Columbus, OH Officer's responded to an attempted stabbing incident. Shortly after arriving, Police exit their vehicle and approach the crowd of people. The suspect later Identified as Ma' Khia Bryant can be seen attacking an individual, shoving her to the ground and swinging a knife.

Moving away from the first victim, Bryant then lunged towards the second victim, pinning her against a car, repeatedly swinging a knife.

Officer's yell at Bryant who was armed with a knife to "Get down" numerous times. As Bryant continued swinging the knife, Officer's escalated the situation and began firing, then neutralizing Bryant.

Columbus Officer's began conducting medical procedures on Bryant before an Ambulance arrived at the scene. Bryant was later pronounced dead.

A further investigation has gone underway since the shooting that happened at 4:45 P.M. Tuesday evening.
