Taliban Attack the Wrong British Artillery FOB

Taliban fighters make the mistake of thinking they can get in close to a British artillery position unmolested. The Brits level their cannons and fire artillery directly at their attackers.

In the history of Operation Enduring Freedom, there has never been a more tally ho lads piece of combat footage recorded. Now, the context on this one is a bit shaky, and to our brothers across the pond, if I'm getting your accents mixed up I'm sorry. There was almost no context to this piece of footage where I found it, other than the fact that the video was recorded in Afghanistan by an artillery unit.

I'm making a few assumption here about this. I'm guessing the video was recorded somewhere in the Farah or Helmand province. I'm also guessing that the time frame is somewhere between 2006 and 2008. The only real context clue I had to work on off of this one is "P.D HE L106," which honestly doesn't mean a whole lot to me. Which is why I went with the next best clue, and that's the accent of the guys recording.

If you were present for this specific incident, please leave a comment down below to expand on the situation a bit more so we can pin it up to the top. I'd love to know how close the Taliban got for the cannons to be leveled with the deck like this against them.
