The Sri Lankan Special Task Force conduct a brazen daylight raid on the individuals responsible for a mass suicide bombing that shook the nation of Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday of 2019.

For context, this is a raid that took place in April of 2019. The men being raided in this video were responsible for a series of suicide attacks that took place 21 April 2019, in which three churches, and three luxury hotels were hit by suicide bombers. A total of 267 people were killed in the attacks, with another 500+ wounded. 45 of the people who were killed in the attacks were foreign nationals, and according to Sri Lankan intelligence agencies all eight of the suicide bombers were Sri Lankan nationals.

After the attacks, the Sri Lankan Military and Police Forces were inundated with calls about information on who might be responsible for the attack. The entire country came together to find out who was responsible for the mass bloodshed on Easter Sunday. One of the tips lead a police unit into the home shown in this video, and upon entry a female suicide bomber detonated herself instantly killing three officers. The rest of the officers retreated out of the building and established a cordon, and the STF was called in to take charge of the situation.
