Soldiers From Texas Share Their Culture With Afghan Civilians

Soldiers, who are most likely from Texas, share their culture of bull riding and rodeos with a random Afghan civilian who is trying to retrieve one of his cows.

Anyone who's done any time at all in the Military has most likely met the stereotypical Texas guy. This guy's not a meme, he's an actual archetype that I am convinced exists in not only every platoon, but in every squad inside of the platoon too. There's always one guy who is wearing a 10-gallon cowboy hat with an oversized belt-buckle who claims to be some sort of master rodeo all-star. He's always smiling, regardless of the weather, and he's always got some back on the farm story to tell.

This video is what happens when that archetypal Texan finds a bull in the middle-of-nowhere Afghanistan. He stops the whole patrol, and tries to convince an Afghan guy that he needs to hop up on the bull and hang on for dear life for a minimum of 8 seconds. Now, I can't say for sure that the guys in this video are from Texas. I'll be up front about that. There's a chance they could also be from Kansas, Arkansas, Wyoming, Nevada, or Arizona. Any way you look at it though, the guys in this video are definitely those guys. Who else would stop an entire patrol in Taliban country to try and rustle up some cattle?
