Russian VDV Unit Obliterated By Ukrainian MLRS Strike

Witness footage reportedly shows the aftermath of a heavy Ukrainian strike against a column of Russian armored vehicles located between Bucha and Irpin, Kyiv suburbs northwest of the city.

From an analysis by Russian military expert Rob Lee on twitter, the destroyed Russian unit was VDV paratroopers, and some of the destroyed vehicles included BTR-82A, BMD-2, R-419MA1, and BTR-D.

The Ukrainian strike was thought to be some sort of multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), which hit with great accuracy along a linear target. The strike also suggests the Ukraine maintains realtime access to aerial or satellite imagery.

The camera man gives a tour of the astonishing wreckage, but is confronted by dismounted Russian troops pulling rear security. They attempt to take his phone as he approaches their position.
