Russian VDV Engages Ukrainians with Rockets Near Kreminna

GoPro video released by the Russian VDV near Kreminna shows an attack against alleged Ukrainian positions with rockets. The small unit appears to be acting on their own and their exact target is unknown.

From the video alone it's hard to tell if the Russians are actually targeting a Ukrainian position, or if they're just firing off the rockets for the sake of firing them. The target appears to be well within range of the recording Soldier's rifle, but he chooses not to engage before, during, or after the initial rocket shot, nor does any return fire ever occur. While it's possible that leading up to their attack point they went completely undiscovered, I find it hard to believe that the point of origin was unknown following their first rocket attack.

Even with a direct hit, supporting positions should have been able to spot the rocketeer and would have more than likely returned fire with small arms after the first rocket. While I can't say for certain, because it's impossible for me to have the full picture in this scenario, I personally think this is some Russian troops out in the tree line near Kreminna just engaging stuff with their rockets so that they don't have to carry them around anymore.
