The Russian Ministry Of Defense released a video showing an Su-25 Frogfoot aircraft carrying out air-to-ground strikes during a training exercise in Kyrgyzstan.

Russia operates multiple military bases within their ally Kyrgyzstan and even allowed the US to build an airbase at Manas as a main US hub into Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom. After 12 yeas of operation and pressure on the Obama administration from Russia, the US handed control of Manas Transit Center back over to Kyrgyzstan in 2014.
