Russian Mi-28 Havoc Shot Down By MANPADS Over Luhansk

Unconfirmed video reportedly shows a Russian Mi-28 "Havoc" attack helicopter being shot down on an unknown date by Ukrainian air defenses over the Luhansk region.

A pair of the Russian attack choppers can be seen shooting rockets at an undetermined target and then turning to exfiltrate the area. The second bird is struck by some sort of munition, likely a surface-to-air missile, and the tail of the aircraft breaks off almost instantly, sending the Russian helo to the ground. It's unlikely the crew members survived.
