This CCTV security footage at a Ukrainian gas station captures the moment a Russian drone is used to attack a civilian fuel station and its customers, ultimately wounding three people.

The short video serves as yet another piece of direct evidence of Russia’s ability and intent to cause suffering to Ukrainian civilians. A slowed portion of the footage shows the drone as it impacts right at the base of the fuel pump, ostensibly in an attempt to cause the pump to detonate. Whereas missile and bomb strikes on civilian population centers and cities are used to economic effect and lower morale, something about specifically targeting civilians in such a deliberate, hunting fashion becomes a little harder to defend.
