Rock Saves Lucky Soldier From Hail Of Bullets

A video out of the war in Afghanistan, Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), shows US service members taking accurate incoming machine-gun fire, and the fire team is saved from destruction by taking cover behind a boulder.

The exact context of this video isn't known, but judging by the slow fire rate of the rounds, the weapon system is likely a large-caliber heavy machine-gun, conventionally used for anti air and anti armor purposes. The continued accuracy of the incoming rounds at such a great range also suggests that the soldiers are being shot at by highly-trained American troops, mistaking this observation post element as a Taliban fighting position...A.K.A. "Friendly Fire."
