Footage out of Syria shows the repercussions of letting your security apparatus slip, as two SAA soldiers return to a checkpoint guard shack which had been left unattended for an undetermined amount of time.

Based on the filming rebel's heavy breathing he may have just hastily placed the device, knowing he only had a short opportunity during a guard shift changeout. It's not clear if the device was command detonated by some sort of remote device, or if the IED was detonated by the targets themselves after finding some sort of curious package inside the small dwelling. Regardless, the operation is successful.
