CCTV footage from Brazil captures the moment a recently released prisoner is shot by law enforcement as they attempt to make a stop. If you look closely, you'll notice that the robber pulls a gun as he rounds the corner in his attempt to flee, which is why the officer with a patrol rifle engaged him as a legitimate threat.

According to reports, the robber was recently released from prison and was previously arrested for conducting armed drive-up robberies from the back of a motorcycle. Unfortunately, in this leg of the robber's journey, he was caught on his first day back on the job.
