A press release from Las Vegas Police Department contains body worn camera footage that shows a fatal officer involved shooting as authorities confront an armed man who had just stabbed his wife to death.

The incident occurred on Jul. 3, 2022. The suspect was identified as 46-year-old Miguel Gallarzo. Gallarzo's children called authorities pleading for an ambulance, claiming their father had just killed their mother. As the police arrived, they find Gallarzo in a bedroom next to the murdered woman. He ignored several compliance commands, and instead, armed himself with a knife and approached the officers, at which point he was fatally shot.
