Footage from the Ukrainian 92nd Brigade shows how technology has changed the way wars are fought as a drone fitted with a thermal camera persistently tracks and marks Russian soldiers as targets for artillery until the Russian unit is almost entirely wiped out.

There is no hiding from the thermal camera as heat signatures are easily identified even through the forest. Additionally, the birds-eye view takes the guess work out of artillery corrections making each individual shot faster and more accurate than dated conventional techniques.
