(NSFW) Myanmar Army Patrol Wiped Out By PDF Ambush

This footage, taken by a People’s Defense Force camera, shows a Myanmar Army patrol getting completely wiped out by a PDF ambush. While the deaths are not shown up-close, there are at least 5 KIA, and therefore viewer discretion is advised.

In textbook fashion, the ambush is kicked off by an IED. Right on its heels, small arms fire starts to drop the soldiers who survived the initial explosion. One soldier is seen breaking for the woodline to the right, but given that the rest of his comrades end up horizontal in fairly short order, the outlook isn’t great. At 0:57, what appears to be a PDF fighter, or perhaps a civilian, is shown walking up casually. Because his affiliation is unknown, we cannot determine whether he is helping or looting the soldier over whom he stands at the end of the video.
