On April 15, 2021, Police were actively looking for a murder suspect in the Cleveland, OH area. The suspect was responsible for the murder of a 48-year-old woman and the injury of a 26-year-old man in early September 2020. The suspect was identified as 25-year-old Innes Lee Jr.

With an active murder warrant, Officers patrolled the neighborhood in which Lee Jr. lived, which also happened to be the same neighborhood the initial murder happened a few months prior.

As Officer's patrolled the neighborhood, they located the suspect and a foot chase began. Not long after this, Officers spotted Lee Jr. running through backyards, jumping fences to avoid to pursuing Officers.

With no where to run, Officers approached Lee Jr. in a backyard where he begins to reach for a firearm in his hoodie pocket. The Officer attempts to take him to the ground, but failed to do so. Within seconds, the Officer takes a few shots, killing Lee Jr.

EMS responded to the incident, where Lee Jr. was officially pronounced dead.
