Brutal thermal drone footage from "Sparta Battalion" of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) pro-Russian separatist forces shows multiple instances of drone dropped munitions onto populated Ukrainian trenches resulting in several casualties amongst the Ukrainian troops. While the trenches may protect against sniper fire and most artillery, the lack of overhead cover and concealment does little to protect against these types of attacks. Ukrainian troops need to adjust their tactics and procedures to mitigate this threat.
