This bodycam footage shows New London Police officers, having located an armed suspect. The suspect, 42-year-old Christopher Nolan, reportedly fired shots in a neighboring hotel before fleeing to this one, where the police have caught up with him. Inside the room, two children, their identities protected due to age, hug the left side and beds (from the officer's perspective) as Nolan turns toward the officers, gun in hand. Three officers open fire on Nolan, downing him. He was transported to an area hospital and, at time of writing, is in stable condition. A revolver was recovered at the scene, and the connection, if any, between the children and the suspect has not been disclosed at this time. No one else was harmed in this incident.
