(NSFW) 911 Caller Ambushes Officer And Wounds 8 More Before Turning Gun On Self

Terrifying footage released by the Phoenix Police Department, shows the moments an officer responding to a misleading 9-1-1 call was ambushed at point blank range by a suspect who had just murdered his girlfriend.

On February 11th, 2022, Phoenix police arrived in the area of 51st Ave. and Lower Buckeye, after a 9-1-1 caller reported that a woman was wounded by a gunshot wound. As shown in the footage, the first responding officer approached a male subject near the front door of the residence. Continuing the act, he hurries the officer by stating "she's choking on her own blood".

Not even ten seconds after his arrival, the male suspect draws a firearm and begins unloaded on the officer, striking him numerous times. Luckily, the officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries to his arm and was able to flee the area.

Multiple agencies responded to the residence shortly after the initial confrontation happened. During the several hour stand-off, the suspect reportedly wounded nine-officers, before turning the gun on himself. At the time of this writing, all officers were reported to have non-life-threatening injuries.

After the home was secured, police located the suspect, later identified as 36-year-old Morris Jones, deceased by a gunshot wound to the head and Jones' ex-girlfriend, also deceased from a gunshot wound.
